For the continued safety and well-being of our members, guests, and families, our Chapter will follow the International Headquarters's and Fort Lee Command's guidance on gathering due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are taking additional steps including the option to have non business virtual social engagements, social distancing and additional safety and cleaning steps to help protect and support our members, guests, and families

We wish to to approach this situation with empathy and urgency. FLAC's top priority is the health and safety of our members, guests, their families, and of the communities we serve, including our partners, prospects, and candidates.  Below, you’ll see details of the support measures we’ve introduced so far, along with a set of resources that we hope will help you to adapt to these times.

We know that everybody’s circumstances are different, and if you have suggestions for how we can better inform you, please let us know by emailing flac1980kappas@gmail.com.  Our leadership team will read every message we get. We promise to listen to your concerns, learn from your feedback, and continually look for ways for all of us to navigate this situation with empathy.

How We're Helping

Decreased Member Contact

Communication is key during this time of constant change. To stay in contact with its members the FLAC uses various telecommunication methods to ensure that close contact is significantly decreased.

Supporting Healthcare Workers

The pandemic has business implications but most importantly, it's a health issue. To help address some of the most urgent health care needs, we've continued to support our workers by spread the guidance on adhering to COVID-19 protocols.

Suspended Meeting & Activities

All chapter-related business has been suspended pending further guidance for the International Headquarters. the Chapter and members' pre-planned business  have cancelled or postponed until further noticed.

Flexible Recruitment Processes

We are continuing to seek good brothers and have adopted a fully virtual recruitment process. All candidate interviews will take place via phone or Zoom for the foreseeable future. Given the impact COVID-19 is having globally, we are closely monitoring local developments and will continue to revisit this suspension in impacted regions. We will update this page as the situation evolves.
